With over 25.000 daily pageviews, TravelPortal.info offers you the oppertunity to get relevant and targeted traffic to your website! Since this a link exchange program, you will have to place a link on your website to our website.

This link exchange program is only meant for website types like:

• other travel directories,
• startpages / link pages,
• general tourist hubs.

FAQ

Do I automatically get a link back from TravelPortal after completing the Link Partner form?
No, not every site wil become a link partner. When we approve your submission, we will contact the potential link partners. If you don't hear from us, assume your website submission has been deleted.

How many Link Partners do you publish on one TravelPortal page?
Each page has a limit of 5 Link Partners.

Can I still submit my site for a page when the maximum of 5 Link Partners has been reached?
Yes. When your site has been accepted, one of the existing Link Partners will be moved to a prominent place within our regular directory and your link will be placed in that position. The Link Partner whose link has been moved to our regular directory will be notified.

Can a redirect my page or website to which the TravelPortal link points?
No. Redirecting pages is a known spam technique. We don't want visitors of TravelPortal.info to be redirected to spam pages. Link Partners who still decide to redirect pages without notifying us will be removed. We will check this on a regular basis. If you want to notify us that you moved a page, please also use the form below and enter the new address of your page. Use the box 'remarks' to tell us that you want to change the link on TravelPortal.info.

Is 3-way linking allowed?
Three way linking means you link back to us from another website. This is not allowed. You must place the link on the domain that we link to.

How about the nofollow tag?
Since this is a free link exchange program and not a paid links program we do not put a nofollow tag on links to Link Partners. We expect the same from our Link Partners.

Can I buy a Partner Link?
No.

How and to which page of TravelPortal.info do I have to link back?
You may decide where and how you link back to us as long as the theme of the page where your put our link matches our content. Example: if you have a site about celebrating a holiday in France, it's logical to place a link back to one of the TravelPortal pages about France. How you link back and what anchor text you use is up to you. At the top of each TravelPortal page you will find a "link-to-us" link. Click on the link and you find a box with HTML-codes you can easily use to edit the link back to us.

Do I need a high PageRank website to become a Link Partner?
No. To us the quality of the information on your website is more important than PageRank. With 'quality' we mean the quality and uniqueness of your information, usability of your site and the degree to which your information is related to our website.

Can I submit multiple websites or pages?
Yes. If you own more websites you can submit them here. The other sites or pages must be about different countries or topics since you will get only one backlink for each country or topic.

Are Partner Links removed after a while?
No, we do not remove Partner Links, unless you have removed your backlink, the information on your site is old, when your content has become unsuitable for our link exchange program or when you do not comply with the conditions mentioned here or in our disclaimer.
